Étreinte is a surrealist statement ring defined by baroque ornament, concealed identity and mechanical transformation.
Its sculptural face is framed by curling, overgrown forms that appear to spread across the surface like carved foliage. At rest, the figure remains still and unreadable. As the hand moves, hidden kinetic eyelids open and close naturally, revealing the gemstones beneath and altering the expression with every gesture.
Étreinte is available in solid 925 sterling silver, finished in 18k gold plating or rhodium, as well as solid 14k or 18k gold. The piece combines traditional jewellery craftsmanship, elaborate sculptural detailing and mechanical movement. Each ring is made to order and engraved inside the band with the Internal Affairs logo and metal hallmark.

Every Internal Affairs piece is made to order in our atelier. Your piece is crafted, finished, and dispatched within 3–4 weeks of ordering. You'll receive tracking the moment it ships, with complimentary worldwide express delivery. Orders can be priortized for special occasions.

S925 denotes sterling silver. Pieces are available in 18k gold plating, rhodium plating, or solid 18k gold (a significant upgrade in weight and longevity).
Where stones are offered: LAB stones are laboratory-grown — identical in chemical and optical properties to mined stones. Natural VS1 denotes ethically-sourced natural diamonds at VS1 clarity.
